Eid al-Adha, also known as Eid-e-Ghorban, Bakra Eid, Kurban Bayrami, Bakrid, Hari Raya Haji, and Big Eid, is the latter of the two Islamic holidays celebrated worldwide each year. It honours the willingness of Ibrahim to sacrifice his son Ismael as an act of obedience to God’s command.
